Members will focus on putting corporate citizenship and sustainability (CC&S) theory into practice, including how to:
- Embed Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability into your company’s core business strategy and gain commitment to execute a robust Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability agenda by:
▪ Building Board and senior leadership consensus
▪ Integrating into company mission and values
▪ Incorporating into practices, processes, and technologies
▪ Extending the commitment to vendors and suppliers
▪ Involving employees, communities, shareholders, and NGOs
- Garner the resources, lead, and implement company-wide initiatives to:
▪ Identify the best opportunities
▪ Create business-case rationales
▪ Implement those that meet corporate goals
- Track, measure, and build the value proposition for Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability impact on:
▪ Brand equity, reputation, and goodwill
▪ Business risk
▪ Market value and access to capital
▪ Employee, community, and shareholder relations
